For You TV Historical Types...

Found this link to the Archive of American Television on YouTube.

This channel is a treasure trove delving into the history of Television containing many in depth interviews with producers, writers, actors, executives, etc. From Harvey Korman to Carol Spinney (Big Bird), this site impresses me with the sheer volume of background info on the shows we remember and the industry who gave us them.

I suggest checking them out, it's a bowl of nostalgia mixed in with fascinating insight!

Ring Out The Old, Ding In The New...

Progress so far in 2009:

A. Pretty much caught up on orders at work. Stress -1

B. Accumulated $200 to date for my impending vehicle repair. $600 to $1400 still left to go. Stress +2

C. Made and consumed the most amazing dinner that I have to date. Waistline +1, Stress -1, Cooking Skill +5

D. Had the most awesome massage on my day off, courtesy of a gift certificate I got at Christmas. Stress -3, Relaxation +4

E. Had a major disagreement with someone hours later, canceling the effects of the massage. Stress +3, Relaxation -4

F. Dinged Level 80 (current highest level in the game) on my main character in WoW. Stress -1, Geek +6

G. Rolled a critical success on paying bills on time. Stress -1, Wallet -10

H. Blogged twice in one month! Critical authoring +1

Minnesota, What The Hell's Wrong With You?

First you elected former wrestler Jesse "The Body" Ventura to be your governor, then you have pretty much elected (pending the legal outcome) AL FRANKEN?!?!

Seriously, choosing a former SNL comedy writer and failed political radio hack to be your senator surely takes the taco. Good luck with that.
