The Last Lecture...

I don't claim this too often, but this video really must have affected the pollen count somehow because my eyes were a bit misty. I laughed, I suffered from "allergies" and most of all, I reflected. I remember seeing this back last October and watched it again today.

The video is called "The Last Lecture," which was given by Carnegie Mellon Computer Science Professor Randy Pausch last September. Professor Pausch suffered from pancreatic cancer, the complications of which he unfortunately died from earlier this morning.

It's a sad back story, but the video is far from. Dr. Pausch discusses achieving your childhood dreams and goals as well as living life to the fullest. He also touches on some interesting projects that he's worked on with virtual reality systems, working with Disney as part of their Imagineering team (they're the ones who design the rides and attractions at the theme parks) and more.

You may need a comfy chair, the lecture is about 75 minutes, but it was totally worth seeing twice.

Enjoy.
