"Kyrie Eleison" is Greek for "Lord, have mercy."

on the day you fell off the planet, i was sad. it was a bright, sunny day and it just made little to no sense why you would chuck yourself off the planet like that.

was it because i typed in lowercase for this entry?

or are you still mad because i ate all the steak 'ums?

Actually, Rob, it's "kyrie eleison hemas." Or at least that's what my papouli (grandpa in Gk) used to say when we'd get outrageous and he was stuck babysitting us. He wasn't particularly religious, but "theo mou" and "k.e.h" were favorite invocations. He also had some really off colored favorites, but we weren't supposed to know them.

Thanks for the info! For some odd reason, I had that Mr Mister song "Kyrie" in my head when I wrote this, but when I did a very quick search on the lyrics, I totally missed the "hemas!"
